“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me."
John 17.20-21

In 2010 a handful of pastors and ministers began praying weekly together in the city of Annapolis.  Since then a relational network has formed with the help of the C.S. Lewis Institute, who continue to pray with one another across our region in committed groups.  Our vision from the beginning has been to see the pastors, clergy and ministers of our geography growing in friendship, unity through centering on Jesus and his gospel through prayer, that the people of our neighborhoods, cities and broader region might believe in Jesus.

AWAKENING PRAYER

We are a collective of pastors, missionaries, and leaders from across different denominational, socio-economic, and ethnic backgrounds praying in unity for gospel awakening in our county and region. Join us on various days at different locations around our county. To receive the weekly location simply text : "AWAKENINGPRAYER" to 883-552-2509

THIS SITE EXISTS TO HELP COORDINATE PASTORS AND MINISTERS IN OUR AREA TO CONNECT IN PRAYER GROUPS.

From the beginning the vision has always been to network with other pastors who are praying together across our area. If you currently pray with a group of pastors or ministers, are part of an existing network, desire to start a new group or join in an existing group contact us so we can encourage you and be encouraged by you.  If you want to be included in the quarterly lunches or have your groups or network listed on this website please simply reach out with an email to r.shepherd@cslewisinstitute.org.

A few times a year the C.S. Lewis Institute invites us together and generously provides lunch for us.  These events provide an opportunity to connect with other pastors or ministers across our region and help those who are not connected to find their way into groups.  You can see the schedule of our upcoming luncheons below.  Please mark them on your calendar and look for the opportunity to register which will come to you by email about 30-45 days prior to the event.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in a loving unity of three equally divine persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His present rule as Head of the Church and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whom the Believer is regenerated and indwelt. The Holy Spirit empowers God's people to live holy lives and to serve and glorify Christ in the world.

We believe the Bible is the word of God written, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts and thus infallible and authoritative in all that it teaches.

We believe that all human beings are created in the image of God and are sinners by nature and by choice, alienated from God, under His wrath and that salvation is by grace alone through trusting in Christ alone.

We believe that the true church on earth is comprised of all those who have been regenerated and justified by God's grace. They are united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which He is the Head.

We believe that all those who have been saved by God's grace are called to glorify Him through a life of grateful, loving, costly obedience and humble service to others.

We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the saved to eternal life and the lost to damnation.
